Alpacas offer way to keep family farm, restore house

  • We have over 90 animals (both suris and huacayas) including 20 appaloosa suri llamas on our 46 acre farm.
  • All of our alpacas and llamas are registered with ARI or ILR!
  • Most have extensive blue ribbons and championships in their pedigrees!
  • Many are related to some of the most expensive alpacas ever sold at auction – most especially our colored suri herd!
  • We have Accoyo, Full Peruvian, Full Bolivian, and Chilean bloodlines!
  • We also sell 100% alpaca textiles, natural and dyed alpaca yarns, and artistic fiber products including one-of-a-kind blankets, scarf/shawls, and capes.
  • Every effort is made to have either some of our own fleece or all of our fleece in our own products.
  • Every effort is also made to have our products made in the USA, with a goal of all of our products made completely and entirely in the USA within the next three years.
  • We are in the process of purchasing our own, very large commercial loom, so all of our products can also be generated completely in the State of Maryland.
  • 100% of the proceeds generated from the sale of our animals and their products goes back into maintaining our most special, Bicentennial Farm!
  • Our Farm is also most unique in that it is the only self-sustaining Bicentennial Farm run completely by one woman!
