Please contact us directly at 301-888-2742 or email us for our most recent animal sales list. This list can change on a weekly to monthly basis, so it is difficult to update our website as quickly with the most up-to-date information. We put alpaca and llama packages together based on the specific needs and requirements of our clients. We strive to make a “perfect fit” of animals for everyone involved. All of our animals are also “our children”; thus we want to find the best new homes as well so that all parties involved (people and animals) will be happy and healthy! Currently we have many black suris and black and grey huacayas for sale (males & females). If there is something specific you are interested in, please contact us. So far, we have sold over 100 (one-hundred!) high quality and healthy alpacas and llamas to very satisfied clients all over the United States. We will be sure to get you exactly what you want, along with the most competitive prices in the industry.

Pansy is a bay black huacaya female. When she is not pregnant, she will be one of the friendliest alpacas on the farm - always wanting to be close to you for petting and kisses. She was one of the friendliest crias born at Ameripaca as well, and thus got lots of positive attention. She is a real lover. In fact, sometimes I think I may want to keep her open, as she is a fantastic public relations alpaca for visitors. After being around a non-pregnant Pansy, every one wants to take an alpaca home! Yet her value as a producing female is extremely significant, as she produces valuable crias!

Pansy has excellent coverage and conformation. She has dense, crimpy fleece which is true black in many areas. The tips tend to fade a little to bay black in a vicuna type pattern.

Pansy has been an outstanding mother with good milk production and crias having high IgG's and steady, hefty weight gains. She is a very protective mother and very aware of her cria's location at all times - a characteristic she still keeps even after the cria is weaned and all "grown up". Pansy doesn't forget her mothering instincts even when her offspring is back in the herd and pregnant with her own cria! Interestingly, Pansy will intervene if another herd member might be treating her offspring in a negative way (spitting, kicking, etc). Pansy immediately comes to the rescue and will put herself between her offspring and any offender (even when her offspring is an "adult" and can fend for herself). Her behavior is very endearing.

Pansy's last cria was "Jasmine" - one of the nicest grey huacaya females ever born at my farm. (Jasmine is also for sale on our website and AlpacaNation.) Jasmine is super dense and crimpy, with fleece having tremendous sheen, especially for a grey. Jasmine has excellent conformation and great coverage - characteristics she inherited from her dam - Pansy. Jasmine is also incredibly sweet and easy to handle - all traits from Pansy!

Price: $11000 (Sells with papers!)
