We put alpaca and llama packages together based on the specific needs and requirements of our clients. We strive to make a “perfect fit” of animals for everyone involved. All of our animals are also “our children”; thus we want to find the best new homes as well so that all parties involved (people and animals) will be happy and healthy! Lover is a light fawn suri male with amazing coverage. He is out of one of my very best, true black suri females - Lauri Ann - who out of QAI1 Tolkien (a rather famous true black suri herdsire known for throwing high dollar suris). Tolkien has gorgeous, consistently locked, true black fleece, great coverage, a typey suri head, and a very sweet personality - all characteristics which Lover has inherited but in a light fawn color. Tolkien is also sire to "Haley" - a true black suri female that sold for $28,500 at the 2001 Breeder's Choice Auction along with many more high dollar suris.

Lauri Ann - Lover's dam - is also sire to Matt Dillon - my best dark silver gray and true black suri herdsire on my farm who is out of Gunsmoke. Dmitri - Lover's sire - is a well locked, very large boned, absolutely gorgeous herdsire currently standing stud for Elissa and Jim Moore. Dmitri is out of Bolivian Fuerzo - an integral herdsire at Ameripaca. Dmitri has lots of dark silver gray streaks in his well locked, extremely lusterous fleece.

Interestingly, Lover is much lighter than both his parents. Therefore, I believe he has the strong potential to throw color with a robust suri phenotype. We gave Lover his name because he was such a sweet cria. He was one of the most "trusting" alpacas I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, as he allows us to do any type of treatment on him without fighting. He has never given us any trouble whatsoever. He trusts us completely - knowing that we love him and always have his best interests in mind.

I would definitely breed this male due to his personality traits, (his sweet mother shares these traits allowing me to shear her standing up without much assistance while pregnant), great coverage, ability to throw color, and strong suri phenotype. His registration papers are sold along with this great price. My last 14 out of 15 crias were males, which is why I am selling him at this fantastic price.
