I am extremely proud to offer Archangel for sale. He represents many of the best concepts concerning my suri breeding program which I have spent many years developing along with investing a lot of money. Archangel is a solid, true blue-black suri male cria. Once his tui fleece is shorn (since the tips have been lightened by the amniotic fluid in utero), he will most definitely be a solid, true blue-black.
His fleece is quite greasy in appearance and very cool to the touch. His lock structure has a beautifully distinctive twist as well - which is consistent throughout his solid boned body. Only one month old in the photographs shown here, you can tell that he will become a magnificent, and super high quality suri male.
I love Archangel's nicely shaped head. His fleece is grwoing in very well, thus he will have a nice "beard" and excellent facial coverage as he matures. (Again, he is amazingly only one month old in these photographs.)
The highest quality in robust suri phenotype in COLOR, COLOR, COLOR!, is represented on both sides of his pedigree. On his sire's side, his colored background is almost exclusively black and grey - with famous suri names of the industry (Condor, Gunsmoke, and Tolkien). His maternal sire is Hightower of Bolivia - known for throwing blinding luster in color. Archangel has most definitely inherited these traits.

Angel is a magnificent vicuna patterned, high quality suri with a very dark maroon colored body, true black tips, ears, and skin, with a light fawn underbelly. She maintains that wet/greasy look concerning her distinct lock structure even though she is an older girl and has been shorn multiple times with electric clippers. Her crias are extremely high quality and friendly, like herself. Angel is out of HighTower of Bolivia. She is an integral member of my suri foundation breeding stock and will never be for sale. Honestly, she is one of the most striking suris in the field. |

Matt Dillon resembles his famous herdsire - Gunsmoke - almost exactly, except that Matt Dillon is a darker shade of charcoal with black streaks. His first crias were born in the Spring 2007, and they range from a very contrasty dark fawn, to charcoal grey and blue-black. All of his crias are suris, and they are most definitely show quality alpacas who would make a great addition to any high quality suri breeding program, especially those breeding for dark colors with unusual markings, even when bred to white females with long pedigrees of white or light colors. Matt Dillon has never left my farm to participate in the show-ring; I leave the show circuit's success up to my clients.
What I love most about his crias, is their extremely lusterous fleece - the type of long, well-defined suri lock which looks wet and greasy. It is cool to the touch as well. Heads type and good coverage are also very important to me as a suri breeder. |
